Hello,

I'm currently installing a system which uses several CP-2000 CPUs across multiple buildings, but they are connected to the same network. I would like to share and send data between the CPUs using PLCnet, but it seems to be unavailable (greyed out in Mosaic, though I didn't see anything about the feature being removed in the version history). Is there a way to re-enable and turn on PLCnet on the installed CPUs, or, if it was disabled for a reason, is there an alternative solution?

Thank you and best wishes,

Mark

Foxtrot 2 PLCs don't support PLCnet service for data exchange among controllers in the network. This is available only for CP-10xx series. The alternative solution is to use PLD (for Foxtrot 2 CP-20xx systems only) or PLCx (for installations with both CP-10xx and CP-20xx systems) modes which are configured via IO Configurator tool.

Thanks, I did find it and tried to use it, however it is still new to me and I couldn't find any documentation about it either. Could you send me an example program or short instructions on how to use it?
