krumpli01 Questions about HW Jan 12, 2023, 10:21 AM Dec 22, 2022, 3:45 PM

I encountered in a problem with converting converting an older project with RFox 1 devices to IOConfig mode to add a newer module to CIB. After converting I don't see any options for the RFox devices. I can't even see their variables. The IOConfig shows the RF is not configurable. I updated the Mosaic, even the descriptors too.

How it can be solved? I want to keep the RFox 1 devices and want to add newer modules to CIB. The PLC is CP-1001. The RFox devices are: R-HM-113M, R-RC-0001R, R-HC-0101F and RF-1131 master. I want to add a C-IR-0303M to CIB.

Unfortunately, RFox modules are not supported in IO Configurator. But it is possible to create the configuration manually. When converting the configuration, the RF-1131 module appears in the IO Configurator. It needs to be removed from the configuration and instead of it new files need to be created in the destination project folder and the declarations of data types, variables and initialization tables related to RFox need to be copied from the files CIBMaker.ST, HWConfig.ST and CIBMaker.mos to these files. The content of files changes according to the specific set of RFox modules, so it is impossible to say in advance what needs to be copied. The only procedure is to translate the project gradually and find out what is missing.
If you send the original project, we will take care of the conversion. You can use  urban@tecomat.cz e-mail address.
