Hello,

my question would be the following: is there a way to use iFoxtrot's Direct connection(http) to connect to a central unit without needing TecoRoute? If we make a device accessible with a fixed address and port forwarding, can it be made available in the iFoxtrot app as well?

Thank you in advance.

Yes, it is possible. You can use public IP address with a public port and the communication can be forwarded by a router to PLC local IP address and port 80. It is the same like you would access web server from a standard browser.

When filling in the parameters in the connection settings dialog, you only fill in the IP address in the format http: // IP_adress: port and the name and password for logging in to the web server. You will not fill in the data for TecoRoute.
